Carmichael Suggests Elizabeth Warren Should Get Behind Tulsi Gabbard After Her Claims of Sexism in the Race for President

Live from Music Row Friday morning on The Tennessee Star Report with Michael Patrick Leahy – broadcast on Nashville’s Talk Radio 98.3 and 1510 WLAC weekdays from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. – Leahy was joined in studio by all-star panelist Crom Carmichael.

At the top of the third hour, Carmichael gave some good advice to Elizabeth Warren who has dropped out of the Democratic presidential race citing sexism. He later stated that because of Senator Warren’s claims, it would be proper for her to endorse Gabbard since she is a woman.

Leahy: Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren withdrew from the presidential race. Dropped out after finishing third in her current home state of Massachusetts and finishing fourth in her native state of Oklahoma. Not doing well and dropping out. Crom, did you watch that press conference she held outside her house? What are your thoughts on that?

Carmichael: Well you know it’s interesting because at one point I think she was leading. It is interesting in politics how when you announce you get this boost. I think Pete Buttigieg at one point kind of had a boost up into the high teens or something like that.

I remember when Scott Walker was leading the Republicans, and he didn’t know exactly how to respond when the press asked him the questions. Then all of sudden, boom. He just tanked after the first debate. I’m talking about Scott Walker.

Leahy: According to the Real Clear Politics average of polls. There was a period of about a month and a half from early October until mid-November where Elizabeth Warren was leading in the national polls.

Yes, Every Kid

Carmichael: And so when you’re in that position and you’re there for a while, you begin to think that you are going to win. And then when things start to fall apart and the wheels come off, which is what happened in her campaign, you don’t know exactly what to do. In her case especially, she’s mad at everybody else. This is negative but it’s true. Her whole life has been essentially built on a bunch of, let’s call them prevarications.

Leahy: Yes. Falsehoods. Lies.

Carmichael: Is that a good word? So a person who builds their life thusly (Leahy chuckles) and they are then rejected, they have to blame somebody else.

Leahy: Yes.

Carmichael: They have to blame somebody else. They can’t look inward. And by the way, these are all Democratic voters. So she can’t blame the Republicans or blame the Deplorables. She can only look at the Democratic Party and blame them because she won’t look at herself. So what she said was that it was essentially sexism that caused her downfall. Now even though she was leading the polls at one point. So we have a solution.

Leahy: We do? What is your solution to the sexism that Elizabeth Warren sees everywhere?

Carmichael: Everywhere.

Leahy: …in the Democratic Party.

Carmichael: She can fix that.

Leahy: How can she fix it?

Carmichael: Well she can fix it because she was asked who she’s going to endorse and said she needs a little space. She says I’m not going to endorse right now. So she can come out full square behind Tulsi Gabbard. Because Tulsi is still in the race, and she is very much a woman.

Not only is she a strong woman, we know she’s strong because first of all, but she also went right back to Hillary Clinton. So she is strong. And she’s been in the military for a long time and I think has been in combat zones. Unlike Pete Buttigieg who was a driver. I think Tulsi Gabbard actually went through boot camp and served in combat zones.

So if Elizabeth Warren feels as strongly about the sexism complaint that she’s making she has a solution. She can come out four-square behind Tulsi Gabbard. And if she doesn’t then it might indicate that she’s just kind of padding.

Leahy: Well, you know it’s interesting because Tulsi Gabbard actually was raised in a multi-cultural household.

Carmichael: OK.

Leahy: Her mother was born in Indiana but her father was born an American-Samoa. He is of Samoa and European ancestry.

Carmichael: Well Bloomberg then (Leahy laughs) should have also supported Tulsi Gabbard because he won America-Samoa.

Leahy: She won one delegate in America-Samoa.

Carmichael: Well he did.

Leahy: And he did too.

Carmichael: So he should have had American-Samoan’s unite behind Tulsi Gabbard and all other Americans. So Bloomberg missed his chance, and he could have put some women under some more non-disclosure agreements.

Leahy: Here’s the thing about your suggestion to Elizabeth Warren that she can make sense of her campaign by endorsing Tulsi Gabbard, the only woman left in the race. She said in her statement, well, in the beginning, there are supposedly only two lanes.

And one for Bernie Sanders and the progressive lane. And one for Joe Biden in the moderate lane. I didn’t think that was the case. And let me think about who I should endorse. If those are the only two lanes and she wants another lane, it’s the Tulsi Gabbard, I’m a woman lane! (Laughs)

Carmichael: There you go. And Joe Biden is anything but a moderate. That may be the reason why she didn’t do well which is that she doesn’t even know what a moderate is. Anyway, she’s gone. But she still has one more announcement to make and that’s her endorsement.

Dems are not interested in Tulsi Gabbard because 1. she is a strong, level headed, trained warrior who has taken the oath of her office twice once as soldier, once as politician, and she believes and swears to protect the American system, the Constitution of the United States; 2. she does not bow down to the communist, socialist wing of her party, nor bow down to the muslim sharia wing of the party, nor the Chicom sychophants; 3. she exposes the hypocritical position of the Dems who now cry crocodile tears because there finally is “no woman running for president”, when Tulsi Gabbard, obviously a woman, and probably the best qualified among all the Dem candidates I have seen or heard, HAS BEEN AND STILL IS RUNNING FOR POTUS IN THE 2020 ELECTION.

  2. not two day

Two problems…..Warren & Gabbard! Both are parasites.

Only one problem: Gabbard is a militaristic hawk on some issues.

She wants the U.S. out of Afghanistan and Iraq and all other 20 year wars, so she is a militaristic hawk? ? ? ? ? ?
